KS2 Student Council 2026–27 Launches at BSD

This week, 16 September marked the launch of the Key Stage 2 Student Council for the 2026–27 school year, bringing together student representatives for an introductory assembly focused on leadership, student voice and active participation in school life. 

The Council will meet fortnightly, providing elected representatives with opportunities to share ideas, lead initiatives and contribute to the development of the wider BSD community. Throughout the year, students will be involved in a range of projects, including ongoing charity initiatives and new opportunities connected to the Eco-Schools garden project. 

With their first official meeting taking place on 22 September, the KS2 Student Council is set to play an important role in encouraging leadership, collaboration and meaningful student involvement across the school.
