KS4 ICT Students Explore School Data Centre at British School Dhahran

This week, KS4 ICT students at the British School Dhahran took part in an exciting and educational visit to the school’s data centre, gaining valuable first-hand insight into how the school network operates on a daily basis.

During the visit, students explored a range of essential networking equipment, including servers, switches and UPS systems, while learning about their important roles in maintaining a reliable, secure and efficient network infrastructure. The experience enabled students to connect their classroom learning with real-world technology applications, strengthening their understanding of networking concepts and the systems that support digital operations throughout the school.

The session provided students with a unique opportunity to observe how ICT theory is applied in a professional working environment.
