Student Leadership and Connection Across Grade Levels at ASD

Students at American School Dhahran demonstrated the power of mentorship, leadership and community during a special outdoor gathering between the high school leadership class and their elementary school buddies.

On May 7, 2026, students reunited for a series of bonding activities that included tag, hide-and-seek and other interactive games designed to encourage collaboration and connection across grade levels. The event provided students with meaningful opportunities to strengthen friendships, build trust and encourage a sense of belonging within the ASD community.

Through play-based interaction and mentorship, high school students further developed leadership, communication and teamwork skills while serving as positive role models for younger students. Elementary students also benefited from an encouraging environment that promoted confidence, inclusion and relationship-building.

Programs such as these reflect ASD’s commitment to cultivating student leadership and creating a supportive school culture where students learn from and inspire one another both inside and outside the classroom.
