ISG Jubail welcomed families for Elementary Back to School Night, an evening designed to strengthen connections and share the spirit of learning that fills the school. Parents, teachers and students came together in the multi-purpose room, where Principal Dr. Jamie Martin opened the evening with a message about the school’s goals for the year. She emphasized the importance of community and creating meaningful opportunities for connection and partnership.

Assistant Principal Sanjeev Jangra then introduced himself to parents and students, sharing that he has been part of the ISG Jubail community for many years. He highlighted his background as a math teacher and IB coordinator, giving families a glimpse of the experience and commitment he brings to his role.

Teaching staff then guided parents through key aspects of school life. Mrs. Melat Gebreselase introduced the communication application used by teachers and families, giving an overview of how it supports clear and consistent updates. Mrs. Sara Alfahad followed with an explanation of after school activities, describing how they are offered in trimesters and how students can participate throughout the year.

Afterward, parents visited their children’s homeroom and specialist classes, including art, music, physical education and Arabic. These sessions offered a chance to see what daily learning looks like and to experience the environment that students enjoy each day. Parents met teachers, explored classrooms and discovered how lessons come to life.

One of the evening’s highlights was the role students played in guiding their families. Children proudly led their parents through activities, showed them how to complete projects such as arts and crafts, explained classroom routines and even walked them around campus. Their leadership reflected the confidence and joy that comes from being part of a supportive learning community.

Back to School Night celebrated the partnership between home and school. It was a wonderful reminder that ISG Jubail thrives when families, staff and students learn and grow together.

A special thank you goes to our Parent Teacher Group for supporting the event, and to our teachers, staff, parents and students for their hard work and commitment in making the evening a success.
