First Assemblies Mark a Meaningful Start to ASD’s Academic Year

American School Dhahran was filled with enthusiasm and a strong sense of community as students across all grade levels settled into their routines.
ASD welcomed students back with a series of assemblies tailored to each division, from lower elementary through high school, creating space for students to connect, learn expectations and start the year on a positive note.
A special highlight of the week was capturing the first official class photo of our senior class. The Class of 2026 gathered to commemorate the beginning of their final year at ASD, marking the start of a memorable journey ahead.
Faculty and staff across campus worked hard to ensure a smooth transition for all students, whether they were returning or joining the ASD community for the first time. From classroom introductions to community-building activities, the week reflected that ASD remains focused on creating a supportive space where students are challenged to grow academically.
We look forward to a year full of learning and growth. ASD is committed to fostering an environment where every student feels supported in reaching their full potential and prepared for the next steps in their educational journey.
