American School Dhahran is proud to announce a new initiative that reflects our ongoing commitment to excellence in music education and our active role within the global music community.

As a member of the Association for Music in International Schools (AMIS), ASD has received two new digital badges designed specifically for member schools. These badges, which will be displayed on our website, serve as a visual testament to our dedication to high-quality music programs and to our valued partnership with AMIS.

By displaying these badges, ASD celebrates its status as a member of this prestigious international organization and signals our belief in the transformative power of music and the arts in the lives of students and educators.

We extend recognition to Mr. Ned Fortescue, high school and middle school band teacher, for his ongoing support and encouragement of our student musicians. We also celebrate the work of Ms. Lauren Cole, our elementary and middle school music teacher, for nurturing the talents of our youngest performers and warmly welcome our new middle school music and performing arts teacher Ms. Kimberly Makechnie, who is already playing an important role in helping students grow into the next stage of their musical journey.

Together, we are shaping a future where music continues to thrive as a universal language and where every student has a stage to shine.
