ISG Jubail Community Celebrates 95th Saudi National Day Together

ISG Jubail came together to celebrate the 95th Saudi National Day with joy, creativity and school spirit. The day reflected the strength of our community as students, staff and families honored the occasion through music, dance and meaningful activities.

The celebration began with a parade that filled the campus with energy. Elementary students walked proudly while middle and high school students cheered them on, creating a moment that highlighted the unity of our school community across all grade levels.

September’s theme follows the ISG Graduate Profile, which we highlight each month. This month’s focus is on individuality, so students and staff were encouraged to wear white, green or traditional clothing in their own unique way. A special video asked students, “What makes you special?” Their heartfelt answers reminded everyone of the beauty of individuality and the many ways each person enriches our community.

Elementary students then gathered in the multi-purpose room for a special assembly. The program opened with speeches before upper elementary students led the Saudi National Anthem, played with violins, recorders and drums. Performances followed, including the drum group and a traditional Saudi dance. The assembly also celebrated individuality, reminding students that each person contributes to the strength of the community.

Students also spent time working together on creative activities. They colored and drew their favorite henna designs on paper, filling the hallways with patterns and bright colors. Saudi National Day themed puzzles gave them another chance to collaborate, offering a fun way to celebrate while practicing teamwork.

While elementary students celebrated in the multi-purpose room, middle and high school students enjoyed their own cultural activities. A henna station and a Saudi-themed photo booth offered memorable experiences, while cultural dancing brought everyone together. High school students demonstrated the traditional steps, guiding their peers through the rhythms and movements of the dance, which quickly filled the space with laughter and energy.

The day closed with gratitude for the performances, activities and shared moments that made the celebration meaningful. Saudi National Day at ISG Jubail was a reminder of the value of community, creativity and joy.
