Parent Teacher Group News – October 2025

The BSD Parent-Teacher Group (PTG) held its October meeting this week, welcoming Superintendent Rhonda Norris, Mr. David Bolton and Senior Head Students. The students introduced themselves and expressed interest in collaborating with the PTG on future initiatives.
The meeting outlined a full calendar of upcoming events. International Day will take place on 12th November, and families are encouraged to work with their country groups on food, shipping and displays.
Additional initiatives discussed included a proposed Room Parents scheme under review, the development of a PTG Newsletter with a new logo, a pre-loved uniform pop-up shop pending approval and a “Gym Gymboree” family sports day concept.
Other topics included Vector Training and CPR courses for staff, a new school photography provider for portraits in October and a potential sponsorship drive to support BSME costs. Superintendent Norris closed the meeting by thanking volunteers, encouraging community engagement and joining Mr Bolton and attendees for a group photo.
