At British School Dhahran (BSD), we prioritize strong partnerships between home and school. Recently, students and parents participated in a Rainbow Fish creative session that encouraged collaboration, creativity and meaningful connection. This event allowed families to engage in their children’s learning while celebrating kindness, friendship and community.

Parents and children worked together to create decorated fish with shiny scales and vibrant colors. Beyond art, the activity fostered creativity, strengthened family bonds and supported children’s confidence and sense of belonging.

Students also created their own Rainbow Fish stories, inspired by themes of sharing, cooperation and empathy. This process encouraged self-expression, reflection on positive values and reinforced BSD’s commitment to nurturing respectful, compassionate and collaborative learners.

The Rainbow Fish parent–child activity exemplified these principles, demonstrating how creativity, family engagement and shared learning support the holistic development of every BSD student.
