Little Authors, Big Stories: KS1’s Class Book Journey
SHARE
We are pleased to see KS1 parents and children working together on our Class Book Project. This initiative has fostered creativity and strengthened connections within our school community.
The Class Book Project invited each child and their family to create a page all about themselves, sharing who they are, what they enjoy eating and the places they love to visit. It was a lovely opportunity for children to express their personalities and interests, while families worked together to celebrate their unique stories.
During the project, families shared ideas and stories, making the experience both meaningful and memorable. Children especially enjoyed collaborating with their parents through writing, drawing and photographs.
This activity helps children develop a stronger sense of identity and belonging within the school community. Reflecting on their families and interests builds confidence, understanding and supports early literacy, creativity and communication in an engaging way.
This collaboration not only nurtured creativity. This collaboration nurtured creativity and strengthened the bond between home and school. It gave parents a valuable opportunity to engage in their children’s learning and create lasting memories together. their time, enthusiasm and support. Your involvement made this project a truly special and memorable experience for everyone involved.
