U14 Volleyball Jamboree – A Day of Team Spirit and Success

We were proud to enter four teams into this year’s  ISG Volleyball Jamboree, with over 40 players proudly representing BSD. It was a fantastic day of volleyball filled with energy, teamwork and determination.

The Girls’ A and B Teams performed exceptionally well throughout the long and hot day. The B Team ended their day with a win and a draw, showing superb progress from start to finish. Their confidence grew with every game and they never stopped smiling whatever the result. The A Team shone in every match, defeating all other schools in straight sets and being crowned ISG Champions. We look forward to building on this incredible momentum and continuing our undefeated streak. A huge thank you goes to Coaches Sheridan, Gilbert, Dodi and Nicholas for their dedication and support.

The Boys’ A Team matched the girls’ success with an equally impressive performance, finishing the day undefeated and without dropping a single set. It was fantastic to see their confidence and adaptability grow as they played in different systems throughout the day. The Boys’ B Team also had an excellent tournament, winning two of their three matches and gaining valuable experience and exposure to competitive volleyball. Their enthusiasm and teamwork were a credit to the school.

We now look forward to the forthcoming SAIKAC tournament, where all teams will continue to build on this success. Congratulations to all players and coaches on an inspiring day of sport, teamwork and achievement.

Go BSD Lions!
