Seventeen ISG Jubail students traveled to Jeddah to take part in the SAIKAC Band and Orchestra Festival hosted by AISJ. This annual gathering brought together young musicians from across the region to learn, rehearse and perform as one community.
Four ISG Jubail students performed in the string orchestra and thirteen participated in the band. After spending months rehearsing their pieces since September, students arrived well prepared and ready to contribute to their ensembles. The festival offered time for focused rehearsal as well as meaningful collaboration with peers who shared their love for music.
Throughout the week, students supported one another and experienced the joy of making music as a collective group. Their commitment, effort and enthusiasm were clear in every rehearsal and conversation. The festival concluded with a final performance with all schools that highlighted the shared work of all participating teachers and students and celebrated the growth that took place both on and off the stage.
In addition to the musical experience, students enjoyed time together during social activities, including a visit to an amusement park, which added excitement and strengthened friendships.
The SAIKAC Music Festival was a memorable opportunity for ISG Jubail students to grow as musicians and community members, returning home with new connections, meaningful experiences and pride in what they accomplished together.
