A Proud Second-Place Result for U14 SAIKAC Cricket at ISG Jubail

ISG Jubail hosted the U14 SAIKAC Cricket Tournament on campus, creating a welcoming space for families, students and staff to cheer on our young athletes. Classrooms stepped outside during their breaks to watch the tournament, and the cheering created a warm, energetic atmosphere that carried through the entire day.

Under the guidance of Coach Rajeesh Kumar, the team played with determination and steady teamwork. They came close to securing first place, keeping the crowd engaged through every inning. Their communication and resilience were evident throughout each match.

The team reflected on the experience with appreciation for what they learned along the way. “SAIKAC cricket was fun. We had our ups and downs, but it reminded us that it is okay to make mistakes, and some mistakes actually work out for the best,” one athlete said.

ISG Jubail is proud of the team’s second-place finish and the spirit they carried on and off the field. The day highlighted the strength of the school community and the support that surrounds our student athletes as they grow, learn and compete together. Go Jaguars!
