TEDxYouth at ISG Dammam: A Powerful Celebration of Ideas

ISG Dammam proudly hosted its TEDxYouth event under the theme “Beyond The Surface,” a theme that captures strength and resilience while encouraging ideas that move past simple observations and into meaningful depth.

Seventeen student speakers took the stage, each bringing a unique message shaped by months of preparation, reflection and growth. For twelve of these speakers, this was their first time ever addressing an audience from a stage, which makes their achievement even more remarkable.

The talks explored ideas that connect to real experiences students face today. Each speaker pushed past surface level views and invited the audience to consider deeper perspectives that influence how we understand ourselves, how we support each other and how we add value to the world around us. Their topics were bold and thoughtful. Their delivery showed confidence that grew out of steady practice and genuine passion for their subjects.

The audience filled the venue with excitement and encouragement. Students and parents sat together and listened closely as each speaker shared a message that was personal, honest and purposeful. The atmosphere shifted with every talk. At times it was silent with concentration. At other moments it was energized with appreciation. The response showed how strongly the students connected with the crowd and how much their work resonated.

The event was an outstanding success. Our speakers stood as examples of courage and creativity, and the audience was left inspired by the ideas presented on stage.

TEDxYouth at ISG Dammam reminded us that when young voices choose to look beyond the surface, they can spark meaningful conversations that stay with us long after the event ends.
