On Nov. 26, American School Dhahran’s National Honor Society (NHS) hosted its annual volleyball tournament, drawing strong participation from across the school community. More than 80 players took part, forming eight competitive teams for an afternoon of spirited play.
The tournament ran from 3-8 p.m., with teams battling through closely matched games and an enthusiastic crowd cheering them on. The competition remained intense throughout the event, showcasing students’ teamwork, sportsmanship and school spirit. The day concluded with the Whipped Creamers securing first place after an impressive performance in the final match.
The National Honor Society is a nationwide organization that recognizes high school students who excel in scholarship, leadership, service and character. NHS members at ASD actively promote community engagement by organizing events, supporting school initiatives and leading service projects throughout the year.
One of the chapter’s most popular traditions is the annual NHS Volleyball Tournament. The tournament brings together students from multiple grade levels to compete in a fun environment.
ASD congratulates all participants and extends its appreciation to the NHS student leaders and volunteers for organizing another successful and meaningful community event.
