British School Dhahran held the annual Book Fair from 30 November to 4 December, providing students with the opportunity to explore a diverse selection of books and discover stories that foster creativity. Visited the fair to browse a broad range of titles, including early-reader classics, young adult novels, non-fiction and graphic narratives. Students shared recommendations, selected books of interest and returned home eager to read.

Reading boosts vocabulary, improves comprehension and strengthens analytical thinking. Allowing students to choose their own books encourages independence and supports a vibrant reading culture, helping them discover new interests and perspectives.

Teachers at BSD observe that the enthusiasm generated by the Book Fair often leads to students spending more time reading both in class and at home, building momentum that extends beyond the event.

BSD is committed to providing experiences that nurture curiosity and empower students to grow academically, creatively and personally. This year’s Book Fair demonstrated that the right book can foster imagination and opportunity.
