Crowning ISG Dammam’s Staff of the Month

This month, our school proudly recognized staff members whose daily actions reflect the spirit of our community. The Staff of the Month recognition highlights individuals who live our school values with sincerity and consistency. The selection criteria focus on integrity, acceptance, respect, responsibility,  and gratitude, with a commitment to act in ways that strengthen the school environment.

This month, four outstanding members of our ISG Dammam community were recognized for their meaningful contributions and commitment to our school’s values.

• From the admin team, Mrs. Amani Basuidan was honored for her steady professionalism and her ability to support staff and families with warmth and clarity.
• In the elementary school division, Ms. Jessica Latonio earned the title for the care she brings to her students and the uplifting classroom environment she creates each day.
• Our middle school recipient, Mrs. Nadia Iqbal, was celebrated for her dedication to student growth and her thoughtful leadership within her grade level and department.
• From the high school team, Mrs. Rana Fatima received the award for her strong work ethic and the positive influence she has on learners through guidance that empowers them to grow academically and personally.

Their achievements highlight the strength of our community and the values we continue to uphold at ISG Dammam:

Integrity- The selected staff member demonstrates honesty in every interaction. They communicate openly with students, families and colleagues. A clear example of this integrity is how they handle student concerns fairly. Their decisions are always guided by what is right for the learning environment.

Acceptance- The honoree embraces diversity and builds an atmosphere where everyone feels valued. A memorable moment occurred during a classroom activity when the staff member invited students to share viewpoints shaped by different backgrounds. The activity led to a deeper understanding because students felt safe expressing themselves. This openness created a classroom culture filled with belonging.

Respect- Respect is present in each conversation the staff member holds. They listen with patience and respond with kindness. A recent situation demonstrated this beautifully. A student approached them with uncertainty about a project. The staff member encouraged the student, asked thoughtful questions and helped the student discover a path forward. The supportive exchange built trust and strengthened the student’s confidence.

Responsibility- Reliability defines the staff member’s work ethic. They arrive each day prepared, follow through on commitments and support colleagues whenever assistance is needed. When faced with a challenge in scheduling, they took ownership of the situation and worked diligently to resolve the issue. Their dedication ensured that students continued receiving strong instruction without disruption.

Gratitude- The staff member regularly expresses appreciation for the efforts of others. They are known for offering encouraging notes to students and colleagues. These small gestures contribute to a positive atmosphere where people feel seen and valued. Their presence helps cultivate a culture rooted in kindness.

Commitment to Act- Beyond meeting expectations, the staff member looks for opportunities to create meaningful improvement. They recently joined a professional development initiative that focused on strengthening instructional practices. Their proactive participation supported the team and inspired others to approach growth with enthusiasm. Through this commitment, they helped bring constructive change that will benefit students for the rest of the year.
