ISG Dammam students presented their end-of-semester drama production, Into the Woods, a culminating performance that reflects their learning and dedication throughout the term. The production highlights skills developed in acting and voice, as well as movement and teamwork, giving students the opportunity to demonstrate their progress on stage.
This lively and imaginative performance brings together familiar fairy tale characters through a creative retelling that balances humor with meaningful life lessons. Students have taken on a wide range of responsibilities, from acting and narration to stage movement and music coordination, as well as important backstage support. Each role allows students to apply the drama techniques they have practiced and refined during the semester.
The production has been strongly supported by Mr. Trevor Naidoo, with students working closely under the guidance of Mrs. Fiza Shaikh throughout rehearsals and preparation. This collaborative process has helped students build confidence and develop a deeper understanding of dramatic storytelling.
Through this performance, students demonstrate creativity and collaboration, and effective communication. The play encourages reflection on responsible choices and working together, while exploring how actions can affect both individuals and those around them.
Inspired by the musical Into The Woods, this end-of-semester showcase celebrates student effort and personal growth. We look forward to applauding our drama students as t
