The ISG Arabic Speech Competition marked a significant milestone for the International Schools Group community as the first cross-school Arabic speech competition in ISG history. The event brought together students from American School Dhahran (ASD), ISG Dammam, ISG Jubail and British School Dhahran (BSD), highlighting a shared commitment to celebrating Arabic as a dynamic and living language across ISG schools.

Students delivered thoughtful and compelling speeches that demonstrated confidence, creativity and strong communication skills. Their presentations reflected a deep engagement with language and culture, as well as the academic rigor encouraged within ISG programs.

To honor excellence across diverse language backgrounds, awards were presented to the top three native speakers and the top three non-native speakers. In addition, six students received Distinguished Entry recognition for speeches that stood out for their originality, delivery and message.

The competition was designed to celebrate the beauty and importance of the Arabic language while encouraging students, both native and non-native speakers to use Arabic with pride, curiosity and confidence. The event served as a celebration of culture, collaboration and unity, reinforcing the value of cross-school partnerships and shared learning experiences.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Arabic Speaking Club sponsor Ms. Rasha Al-Nasr, the participating students, HS Global Language & MOE Courses Ms. Sharifah AlQahtani, Arabic department teachers Ms. Shouq Zanom, Ms. Alya AlHawary and all supporters who contributed to the success of this event. Their collective efforts made possible an experience that inspired students and strengthened connections across the ISG community.
