ASD Student Athletes Sharpen Skills at U16 Badminton Jamboree

American School Dhahran student-athletes demonstrated dedication, teamwork and competitive spirit during the U16 Badminton Jamboree held this weekend at ASD and British School Dhahran.

The event provided students with the opportunity to strengthen both singles and doubles play while competing alongside peers in a collaborative, high-energy environment. The matches offered valuable game experience as athletes prepared for the upcoming U16 SAIKAC tournament scheduled for next week.

Beyond competition, the jamboree reflected ASD’s commitment to well-rounded student development through athletics, emphasizing skill building, sportsmanship and resilience. Guided by Coaches Ms. Jill Andrade, Ms. Chona Panuela, Mr. Richard Smith and Ms. Kat Oefelein, students benefited from focused instruction and meaningful match play that will serve them well in future competitions.
