American School Dhahran students continued to advance their college and career readiness through a university tour hosted by ISG in partnership with Gulf Edutours on Jan. 27. The event provided students with direct access to representatives from leading universities around the world, supporting informed decision making as they plan their future pathways.
During the tour, ASD students engaged in face-to-face conversations with university representatives, learning about a wide range of academic majors, student life experiences, financial aid opportunities, admissions requirements and application deadlines. The event offered students a valuable opportunity to ask personalized questions and gain clarity on how their academic programs align with university expectations.
Participating institutions represented a diverse global network of higher education options:
- Toronto Metropolitan University, Canada
- University of Guelph, Canada
- CUNEF, Spain
- IE University, Spain
- UFV Universidad Francisco de Vitoria in Madrid, Spain
- Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, USA
- Caldwell University, USA
- Marist University, USA
- Michigan State University, USA
- Temple University, USA
The tour also featured universities with multiple international campuses, including EU Business School, with locations in Spain, Switzerland and Germany and Glion Institute of Higher Education, Les Roches and École Ducasse, with campuses across Switzerland, Spain and the United Kingdom. Additional participating institutions included Bahçeşehir University and Koç University from Turkey, as well as Middlesex University Dubai from the United Arab Emirates.
The university tour reflected ASD’s ongoing commitment to preparing students for success beyond high school by connecting them with global opportunities and equipping them with the knowledge needed to navigate the university application process with confidence.
