British School Dhahran Celebrates Outstanding Success at the U14 SAIKAC Football Tournament

On 22–23 January, BSD proudly took part in the U14 SAIKAC Football Tournament, fielding three boys’ teams and two girls’ teams in a highly competitive and inspiring display of school sport. Competing against other leading schools, BSD students showcased exceptional commitment, teamwork and determination throughout the tournament.

The Girls B Team delivered a remarkable performance, achieving their best result to date as Plate runners-up, a significant milestone in their development. The Girls A Team continued their outstanding legacy by claiming the championship title, securing victory for the fourth consecutive year in a dominant and confident display of skill and teamwork.

On the boys’ side, the Boys C Team truly embodied resilience, growing stronger with every match and demonstrating perseverance and determination in the face of challenging opposition.

The Boys B Team finished the tournament with an impressive 2–0 victory, while the Boys A Team secured third place overall, maintaining BSD’s exceptional record of finishing within the top three for the past five consecutive years in the U14 football competition.

BSD went head-to-head with other schools in exciting matches filled with energy, teamwork and determination. The tournament provided a fantastic opportunity for our students to challenge themselves, support one another and proudly represent BSD within the wider school sports community.

At British School Dhahran, competitive sport is an essential part of holistic education. We are immensely proud of all our U14 athletes for their dedication, resilience and sportsmanship, and we look forward to their continued success in future competitions.
