On 27 January, British School Dhahran proudly marked its third Best Buddies visit to ACCEL with a vibrant and meaningful day centred on creativity, collaboration and friendship. BSD students thoughtfully prepared and confidently led a wide range of engaging activities, creating an inclusive environment where everyone could participate and feel valued.
Throughout the visit, students explored their creative talents through winter-themed clay modelling, enjoyed friendly turns at bowling and carnival-style games and designed colourful shakers that later added energy and rhythm to joyful karaoke sessions. Each activity encouraged cooperation, self-expression and shared enjoyment.
The atmosphere was filled with laughter, music and genuine connection. All participants were fully engaged, demonstrating enthusiasm and happiness as they took part in the day’s experiences. This visit served as a powerful reminder of the values at the heart of the Best Buddies programme: friendship, creativity and inclusion, and reflected BSD’s continued commitment to fostering meaningful connections beyond the classroom.
