ISG Dammam Young Scientists Bring the Hidden World of Insects to Life During a Vibrant Science Celebration

Curiosity and creativity took center stage during our Insect Research Science Celebration, where ISG Dammam students proudly showcased the results of their in-depth investigations into the fascinating world of insects. Each student selected an insect of personal interest and conducted research to learn about its habitat, physical characteristics, life cycle and unique adaptations. Their discoveries were transformed into colorful, informative posters that demonstrated both scientific understanding and careful attention to detail.

To bring their projects to life, students crafted masks modeled after their chosen insects and wore them during the event. The learning space transformed into an immersive display of student creativity as visitors encountered a wide variety of insect-inspired designs. Students then presented their findings to visiting classes, confidently explaining what they had learned and responding to thoughtful questions from their audience.

The celebration highlighted not only scientific knowledge but also communication skills and student ownership of learning.
