The ISG Jubail community is celebrating exciting MathCounts achievements following the Chapter Level Individual Round Ranking held on February 24, 2026 at the Teaching and Learning Office.

Competing alongside strong students from across the region, ISG Jubail middle school mathematicians earned both first and second place in the competition, while a student from American School Dhahran placed third. The results highlighted the strong presence of ISG Jubail at the event, with six of the twelve chapter level participants representing the school. Students prepared for the competition alongside Mrs. Preetha Nataraj, bringing dedication and teamwork to every stage of the season.

These results built on earlier success during the district level MathCounts competition held on January 31. ISG Jubail earned the title of Champion School with 43.5 points. ISG Dammam finished as runner up with 29 points while American School Dhahran (ASD) and British School Dhahran (BSD) followed with 27 points. Individual performances also played an important role in the team’s success, as two ISG Jubail middle school students earned first place in the individual standings. The team continued their strong performance in the Countdown Round where two ISG Jubail students were crowned champions and in the Team Round where ISG Jubail secured the top position.

Competitions like MathCounts invite students to deepen their understanding of mathematics while strengthening problem solving, analytical thinking and perseverance. Preparing for these challenges requires focus, collaboration and a willingness to approach complex problems with curiosity.

The ISG Jubail community is proud of the mathematicians who represented their school with dedication and integrity. Their achievements reflect the effort they bring to their learning each day and the supportive spirit that continues to shape the Jaguar community.
