BSD Sixth Form Student Among the Youngest Runners at the London Marathon

A Sixth Form student from BSD was recently among the youngest participants to complete the world-famous London Marathon, balancing the challenge of the 26.2-mile race with a demanding pre-examination schedule.
Our student, who is also BSD’s Deputy Head Girl, ran alongside her father in her first full marathon, describing the experience as both challenging and rewarding while taking in iconic landmarks across the capital, including London Bridge and Buckingham Palace.
A dedicated athlete, she has represented BSD in volleyball and netball and has also competed internationally with Bahrain Rugby Club at the Dubai Sevens. Completing the marathon in an impressive time of 5 hours and 40 minutes, she has already expressed an interest in taking part in future marathons, demonstrating outstanding commitment, resilience and determination both inside and outside the classroom.
