Middle School Information Day at ISG Jubail brought teachers, elementary students and families together for an afternoon filled with conversation, curiosity and connection. Designed to help students prepare for the transition into middle school, the event gave families an opportunity to learn more about daily life, academic programs and student experiences directly from middle school students themselves. The atmosphere felt warm and welcoming as younger students explored classrooms, asked questions and began imagining themselves in the next stage of their learning journey.

One of the most meaningful parts of the event was seeing middle school students step confidently into leadership roles. Students volunteered to lead subject stations where they spoke about their classes, shared personal experiences and answered questions from visiting families and elementary students. Stations highlighted subjects including English, Arabic, KSA history and geography, mathematics, science, STEAM, ancient civilizations, art, band and physical education. Student displays and classroom materials helped families better understand what learning looks like across the middle school program.

Teachers were also available throughout the event to connect with families and answer questions. Meeting both teachers and students helped younger learners feel more comfortable about moving from an elementary homeroom setting to rotating between subject classrooms during the school day. Through open conversations and shared experiences, families were able to approach the transition with greater confidence and excitement.

The band performance became a highlight of the afternoon as middle school students, alongside Kris Hammer, performed songs they had learned on instruments many had only started playing earlier this school year. Families watched students perform with focus and confidence, reflecting the progress they had made in just a short amount of time. The event also included a presentation led by middle and high school counselor Tricia Jordaan, who spoke with families about the middle school experience and the support available to students during the transition years. Students contributed throughout the presentation as well, helping families hear directly from those already experiencing middle school life each day.
