Compassion Club and Elementary Students Lead a Heartwarming Celebration at ISG Jubail
SHARE
ISG Jubail was filled with pure joy and deep emotion as our elementary students and compassion club got together for a very special well-being assembly dedicated to our incredible custodial team.
The morning kicked off with our Compassion Club welcoming our school heroes with beautiful flowers. This set the stage for a series of touching gratitude speeches from our elementary students, who spoke beautifully about the true meaning of wellbeing, noting that looking after our own wellbeing means looking after and caring for the wonderful people who surround us every day.
Elementary students presented each custodian with massive, handmade paper-tufted hearts to symbolize our community’s love. Following this moving and heartwarming moment, Principal Dr. Jamie Martin took the stage to recognize and celebrate the nominated students who have consistently championed the school profile of empathy and care.
To inspire our youngest learners, our middle and high school student speakers closed the assembly with powerful messages. They reminded everyone that global citizenship and humanity start right here at school through simple daily acts of gratitude. They beautifully highlighted that appreciating our custodians is a reminder that our school is a true home to them, even when they are far away from their own homes.
A massive thank you to our teachers and students for all the support, making this event possible and Parent Teacher Group for collaborating on this event and for always showing up with open arms whenever our school community needs your support, we couldn’t do this without you! The inspiring morning concluded with a wave of smiles as each member of our custodial team was gifted a special box of appreciation to take home. Thank you to the Compassion Club, Mrs. Madiha Qamar and everyone who made this beautiful celebration of kindness possible.
