ASD Celebrates Lower Elementary Students During End-of-Year Celebration

American School Dhahran celebrated its lower elementary students on June 8 and 9 during joyful end-of-year celebrations that marked an important milestone for students and families alike.

The events brought together parents, teachers and staff to recognize the growth, accomplishments and memorable moments students experienced throughout the school year. The celebrations began with student performances featuring songs and choreography that showcased the confidence, creativity and talent of ASD’s young learners. Families watched with pride and joy as students took the stage and celebrated their achievements.

Following the performances, students received certificates in recognition of their hard work and progress throughout the year. The celebrations concluded with classroom gatherings where parents were invited to spend time with their children and reflect on the year through activities, projects and learning experiences completed at ASD.

The events highlighted ASD’s strong sense of community and commitment to creating meaningful learning experiences that support both academic growth and student confidence from an early age.

ASD extends its sincere appreciation to lower elementary teachers Ms. Jenni Laing, Ms. Renee Gable, Ms. Yumna Mukarram and Ms. Maheen Marghub for their dedication and care throughout the school year. Special thanks also go to teaching assistants Ms. Shirley Yu, Ms. Princess Bilo, Ms. Chona Panuela and Ms. Rhodalyn Dimaano for their continued support of students and classrooms.

ASD also thanks Ms. Lauren Cole for her work in preparing and supporting students in creating a memorable and heartfelt performance for families and the school community.
