British School Dhahran is proud to celebrate another year of strong IGCSE results, with students achieving excellent outcomes across a wide range of subjects in the 2025–26 academic year.

  • 58% of all IGCSE grades awarded were at grades 9–7, compared to schools in England where the percentage was only 23%.
  • 93% of all IGCSE grades awarded were at grades 9–4, compared to schools in England where the percentage was only 71%.

The results reflect the consistent commitment of our students and teachers, supported by the encouragement and partnership of our families.

The cohort also achieved impressive results across multiple subjects, with 60% of students earning five or more grades at 9–7, and 93% achieving five or more grades at 9–4.

Among this year's outstanding individual performances, several students achieved five or more grade 9s from their nine IGCSE subjects.

The breadth of these results is particularly encouraging. Across the full cohort, students have demonstrated the knowledge, perseverance and independent learning skills needed to progress successfully into A levels and other post-16 pathways.

As our students move forward to the next stage of their education, they take with them not only their academic achievements, but also the values of curiosity, respect and compassion that are central to the BSD experience.

Congratulations to our students, families and teachers on another successful year of IGCSE results.
