The ISG Jubail U16 and U19 volleyball girls and boys teams recently took to the court for friendly matches at ISG Dammam, giving our athletes an opportunity to experience their first competition of the 2026-27 season while building confidence as teams.

The matches gave players a chance to put their training into practice and see how their teamwork translated into a competitive setting. With teammates supporting one another throughout the games, the teams showed the value of working together and maintaining a positive attitude on the court.

For the U16 teams, the matches ended with wins across all three games played. The U19 teams also competed strongly, with the girls securing one of three closely fought matches. With both schools continuing to prepare for the season ahead, the friendly matches offered a valuable opportunity for athletes to compete, learn and support one another.

Coach Meisie Maja shared her pride in the athletes, saying, “Amazing performances. We are so proud of their hard work, which has been so evident in practices.”

The matches also gave the athletes a chance to see how they perform as a team when the pressure of competition arrives. Their coaches were pleased to see players come together and play with strong sportsmanship while representing ISG Jubail.

Coach Jason Martin said both the U16 and U19 girls’ teams played well-fought matches and proudly represented ISG Jubail in their first friendly match of the season. He highlighted the U16 team’s three wins while recognizing the U19 team’s hard-fought match.

Coach Haidar also praised the teams for their strong performances, highlighting the U19 team’s close competition and the U16 team’s teamwork, team spirit, courage and confidence.

For our athletes, the season is about more than results. It is about learning how to play for one another, encouraging teammates and continuing to grow through every match. As the volleyball season continues, our Jaguars will carry that spirit with them onto the court.
