The Parent Teacher Group (PTG) at ISG Jubail recently gathered for its first meeting of the school year, beginning with a warm opportunity for parents, teachers and school leaders to catch up over tea and coffee. The relaxed conversations set a welcoming tone, bringing the community together before turning to plans for the months ahead.
The meeting opened with reports from the chair, secretary and treasurer, followed by a proposed budget outlining how the PTG hopes to support school events and contribute to the wider school community this year. Principal Kristin Kappelman then shared updates in her report.
Members also discussed open committee positions and the PTG’s support in reorganizing equipment in one of the school buildings. The conversation continued with plans to recognize World Teachers’ Day and upcoming activities designed to bring families together.
Looking ahead, the PTG discussed family nights, the Jaguar Junction merchandise shop and preparations for Jaguar Jubilee. Members also considered teachers’ requests and ways to support parent-teacher conferences, along with the possibility of a family painting night this fall.
With plenty of ideas taking shape, the meeting reflected the value of parents and staff working together to make the ISG Jubail community feel connected and supported throughout the school year.
