STRENGTHENING PARTNERSHIPS FOR STUDENT OPPORTUNITIES & COMMUNITY IMPACT
At ISG, we recognize that our community partners play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our students. Our partnerships with companies, organizations and community members provide invaluable opportunities that extend learning beyond the classroom. These relationships not only support academic excellence but also foster real-world experiences that prepare students for the world of today and into the future. Through collaboration, we continue to create meaningful opportunities that benefit both our students and the wider community.
One of our key focus areas is expanding student opportunities through partnership engagement. Whether through internships, mentorship programs or hands-on learning experiences, both on and off campus, our partnerships enable students to learn more about areas of interest, explore career pathways and develop essential skills. By investing in these connections, we ensure that our students have access to a broad range of experiences that inspire them to pursue their interests and potential areas of passions and make meaningful contributions to society in line with our Mission of compassionate action.
Beyond the classroom, ISG remains committed to active community engagement. Our students and staff regularly participate in opportunities that strengthen our ties with local and international organizations. These activities reinforce the importance of civic responsibility and global citizenship. Additionally, ISG continues to support charitable endeavors, encouraging students to take part in service projects that make a lasting difference in the lives of others.

SXSW EDU CONFERENCE IN AUSTIN, TEXAS
Recently, I attended the SXSW Edu Conference in Austin, Texas to represent ISG and as part of my professional development this year. This annual conference presents cutting edge thinking in innovative learning worldwide. In its 15th consecutive year, this conference brought together an estimated 10,000 individuals hosting, learning and volunteering in this event.
The conference program included valuable sessions on expanded approaches to learning beyond traditional education, innovation in leadership, wellbeing and belonging, building capacity, care and community, ensuring a positive school culture and how to maximize AI in a learning environment.
When leadership participates in professional development like SxSW, it provides us with opportunities to stay current on educational best practices and research and it ensures we are considering relevant strategies and approaches for the ISG learning environment. To support this thinking, my learning from SxSW will be shared with the ISG Leadership team as well as our ISG teaching community to enhance learning for our students.
