BSME in Abu Dhabi Recap

In an exceptional display of sportsmanship and talent, British School Dhahran proudly participated in the recent U13 British Schools in the Middle East (BSME) Games held in Abu Dhabi on February 1-4.

Our young athletes competed against 16 other schools in the region and showed vigor and determination at many disciplines during the event. The U13 girls team showcased their skills in netball, football and athletics both on an individual and team level, and the U13 boys team excelled in football, volleyball and athletics, highlighting the diversity of athletic skills we have within our student body at BSD.

The success of our teams is a testament to their hard work and commitment of our student-athletes, who have been training and preparing for the BSME Games over the last few months.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our coaches who stand behind this achievement: Coaches Kern Cruddas, Sophie Hepworth, Dufney Botha and Eimear Mc Daid.  We thank them for their efforts and dedication to developing our student-athletes and their commitment to excellence.

Congratulations to all our students, we are immensely proud of you. Please watch a recap of the 2024 U13 BSME Games here.
