BSD-ISG-Typing-Competition 2025

With 990 participants from all ISG schools, BSD Typing Competition concluded with 3 Typing Competition assemblies for KS1, KS2, Year 7-10 students where volunteers including teachers took part in a timed typing competition with and without a keyboard cover, and an ultimate challenge of bind fold typing.

The competitions were successful and brought joy to students and staff. They also emphasised on the importance of this skill. You can see the pictures of all assemblies on iSAMS Photo Gallery you can find in School Life on both Student and Parent portals. Please login using your iSAMS login credentials, and use BSD: Parent Helpdesk Form for technical support.

Winner certificates will be presented to students during an introductory assembly at the beginning of the next academic year. More information will be communicated in August.

Plans for next academic year:

With the beginning of the new academic year, British School Dhahran will run a competition for BSD parents which includes Arabic typing (for those interested). Invitations and arrangements will be announced in August 2025.

BSD will also extend this opportunity to all ISG schools and run Typing Competition assemblies for students and parents, more details will be shared by your respective school principals.
