The ISG Jubail community gathered on a joyful evening to honor the achievements of its graduating class. Families, friends and staff joined in a warm and supportive atmosphere and celebrated an important milestone in the lives of the students.
The event began with welcoming remarks from ISG Superintendent Ms. Rhonda Norris, who spoke about the significance of conducting ‘tiny experiments’ to guide them in finding their path. Her words encouraged the graduates to stray true to their values and nurture their relationships with people they meet along the way.
Principal Sarah Dugan congratulated the graduates and recognized the dedication, resilience and hard work that brought them to this moment. She encouraged students to approach the future with confidence and a commitment to excellence in all their pursuits.
The valedictorian offered a heartfelt speech expressing gratitude to teachers, parents and peers who supported the class along the way. The graduate reflected on lessons learned inside and outside the classroom and urged classmates to carry those values forward as they begin new chapters.
Inge Krogue, president of the Parent Teacher Organization, presented the PTG Scholarship to a student who has demonstrated outstanding commitment to learning and community. Spanish teacher Tomas Nicolas shared fond memories and expressed deep pride in the graduates’ accomplishments, and US Consul General James Sindle gave a thoughtful speech on the importance of connection and relationships.
Music was an important part of the celebration. A graduate performed a solo piece on the violin, Viva La Vida, another sang a cover to ‘Night Changes’, while the ISG Jubail band played the graduation march and gave a final tribute to her graduating members. The performances added a special touch to the evening.
Student artwork and photographs decorated the space, reflecting the creativity and energy of the graduating class. Each diploma awarded represented years of growth and friendship.
The ceremony ended on a high note as graduates turned their tassels and tossed their caps in the air amid cheers from the audience. The moment captured the excitement of endings and beginnings and the strong sense of unity among everyone present.
ISG Jubail offers sincere thanks to all the teachers, staff and parents who contributed to the graduates’ success. The school community looks forward to watching the class continue to grow and make a positive impact in the world.
Congratulations to the graduating class. The future is bright, and your journey is just beginning.
