Last week, BSD held its Senior School Achievement Assembly to celebrate the hard work, dedication and success of our students. The assembly recognized many outstanding accomplishments, including exceptional academic results, the Duke of Edinburgh Silver Awards and sports victories in the SAIKAC volleyball tournaments. Students were encouraged to embrace the message "Comfort is the Enemy of Achievement," inspiring them to step out of their comfort zones and strive for greatness.
We are incredibly proud of our top academic achievers, who performed exceptionally in Cambridge International and Pearson Edexcel exams. Highlights included a BSD student who earned the Highest Mark in the Middle East for English Language and Literature, and another student who achieved the top mark in the Eastern Province for AS Level Psychology. Several other students were honored for leading the way in subjects like Business Studies, Physics and Chemistry. Congratulations to alumni Yusuf Banoo and Danish Raja for their incredible A level results, showing where hard work can lead. The assembly ended with a beautiful piano performance by one of our students, adding a special touch to the event.
Our Sixth Form leaders also organized a fun sports afternoon, bringing students together to bond, enjoy the cooler weather and unwind. It was a great reminder of the importance of teamwork, relaxation and enjoying time together. Well done to all our students for their amazing achievements and efforts—we are so proud of you!
