Instructional Leadership Team Training

This week our Instructional Leadership Team (ILT) engaged in an interactive session with consultant Justin Baeder on conducting classroom visits and having meaningful evidence based conversations.  ILT members had the opportunity to conduct a role play and collaborate with colleagues on common challenges, questions, and new ideas. 

ILT establishes explicit links between ISG's Mission & Guiding Principles and instructional leadership. The group aims to create research-based, collaborative solutions to district-wide topics and to stay well informed of proven practices identified in educational research and literature.

The Instructional Leadership Team  includes the Superintendent,  the Assistant Superintendent,  all Principals, Assistant Principals, and the Teaching and Learning Office.

The ILT is one of many committees that we have at ISG.  Others include the Professional Development Committee, the Curriculum Committee and the Support Staff Committee.
