ISG Jubail Band Students Unite for a Remarkable SAIKAC Performance

A group of dedicated high school students from ISG Jubail, including eight band students, orchestra members and string players, recently participated in the SAIKAC concert in Riyadh.

Under the leadership of Mrs. Kris Hammer and Mrs. Melek Demir, the students put in countless hours of preparation, learning the music ahead of time and rehearsing after school to perfect their performances.

SAIKAC was not a competition, but rather an opportunity for several schools to come together and perform as one. Each group rehearsed the same songs, which led to a unified, powerful concert performance. The event highlighted the students’ dedication and teamwork, as they collaborated with peers from other schools to create a memorable musical experience.

Parents traveled to support the students, adding to the sense of community and pride. The concert was a celebration of hard work, passion for music and the joy of performing together.
