ISG Jubail Student Performs at Prestigious AMIS European Honor Band

At the end of March, ISG Jubail was proud to see one of its high school trumpet students represent the school on an international stage at the AMIS European High School Honor Band, hosted by Frankfurt International School in Germany.

Organized by the Association of Music in International Schools (AMIS), this prestigious ensemble features some of the most talented high school musicians from international schools around the world. Earning a spot is no small feat, students undergo a highly competitive audition process to qualify. Our student’s selection is a testament to his talent, commitment and months of preparation.

In the lead-up to the event, he worked diligently to master a challenging repertoire in anticipation of the group rehearsals. Once in Frankfurt, the selected musicians spent an intensive weekend rehearsing under the guidance of world-class conductors and music educators. The experience culminated in an exceptional final concert, where the students demonstrated the results of their hard work and musical skills.

This opportunity highlighted our student’s skill and dedication and gave him the chance to collaborate with and learn from fellow musicians across cultures and backgrounds. He was supported every step of the way by his teacher, Mrs. Kris Hammer, whose guidance and encouragement were integral to his success.

Congratulations to our student and Mrs. Hammer for their outstanding achievement and for proudly representing ISG Jubail on the global stage!
