ISG Jubail Students Hit the Right Notes at KAUST Music Festival

Eight middle school students from ISG Jubail, along with their band director, Mrs. Kris Hammer, had the exciting opportunity to attend the Middle School Music Festival at KAUST. After an early morning flight, the students were ready for a day filled with music, teamwork and fun.

The day began with lunch and rehearsals in the afternoon, as students eagerly began working to bring their hard work to life. It was exciting to see their dedication come together as they focused on creating a polished final product. In addition to full ensemble rehearsals and sectionals, students enjoyed social activities, including a buffet dinner and a lively trivia night.

The weekend wrapped up on Friday with an afternoon concert, where the students performed six pieces under the direction of six different conductors. It was a remarkable opportunity for the students to express their talents and collaborate with peers from other schools.
