Senior school students at BSD had an exciting opportunity to dive into STEM learning through a workshop led by engineers from BAE Systems.
The session introduced students to the fundamentals of design, motion and aerodynamics in a hands-on, interactive format. Using creative problem-solving, students built and tested various paper airplane models, experimenting with designs to maximize speed, distance and flight trajectory. The engineers provided valuable insights into how different structural elements influenced performance, making the experience both educational and fun.
This workshop highlighted BSD’s dedication to creating an engaging and collaborative learning environment, where students can explore real-world applications of science, technology, engineering, and math.
