As the school year came to a close, the ISG Jubail community gathered for its annual end-of-year assembly, a moment to reflect, appreciate and celebrate the experiences that shaped the year, marking the end of another chapter of togetherness.
The assembly opened with a heartfelt message from Assistant Principal Mrs. Becky Cays, who expressed gratitude for the dedication and spirit shown by the entire school community. She thanked the students for their enthusiasm and effort, the teachers for their unwavering support and the families for their encouragement throughout the year.
As part of the celebration, students who would be departing ISG Jubail were invited to stand. They received a warm round of applause from peers and staff, recognizing the impact they had made during their time at the school. They were reminded that no matter where life takes them, they remain a part of the ISG Jubail family. “Once a Jaguar, always a Jaguar,” they were told, with an open invitation to return, whether as alumni, guests or tour visitors in the years to come.
One of the highlights of the assembly was a year-in-review video that brought smiles, laughter. The screen filled with memories from across the academic year, capturing the range of student activities, concerts, athletic events and after-school activities. The video, thoughtfully edited by Ms. Rawan Abdullah, also reflected on classroom moments, special award ceremonies and the recent kindergarten and senior graduations.
In addition to celebrating the past, the video introduced new staff members who will be joining ISG Jubail next year and included a meaningful tribute to staff members who are beginning new chapters in their lives.
The assembly was a joyful and reflective way to close out the year, filled with gratitude and a deep sense of connection. As students and staff prepare for a well-earned break, the memory of this year’s shared journey will carry forward into all that comes next.
As the day drew to a close, Mrs. Kris Hammer and several teachers joined in singing, dancing and waving goodbye to the students as they departed for the summer.
