ISG Jubail recently welcomed families to a meaningful Celebration of Learning that honored the accomplishments, growth and experiences of elementary students as they prepared for the transition to middle school. Alongside teachers Ms. Maryyah Trodep, Mrs. Komali Abbineni and Mrs. Victoria Pou, students reflected on their elementary years while sharing the learning, skills and memories that have shaped their journey.

Throughout the event, students confidently welcomed families into their classrooms and proudly shared projects that highlighted their learning across multiple subject areas. Literacy projects, favorite mathematics concepts and collaborative activities gave families a closer look at the curiosity, effort and progress that students have demonstrated throughout the year. One particularly engaging activity invited students and parents to work together on a mathematics challenge, creating opportunities for teamwork, conversation and shared learning.

Student speakers reflected on their experiences in elementary school, sharing personal stories about growth, friendships and the lessons they will carry with them into the next chapter of their education. Their thoughtful reflections offered families an opportunity to see how much students have matured both academically and personally during their elementary years.

Music also added a special element to the event as students performed songs on the recorder and sang for their families. Their confidence and enthusiasm filled the classrooms with joy as families celebrated the progress students had made throughout the year.

At the heart of the celebration was a beautiful student art exhibition curated by Mrs. Shereen Ibrahim. Positioned throughout the center of the classroom spaces, the exhibition highlighted a wide variety of student artwork and created a vibrant environment that celebrated the many talents, perspectives and creative abilities within the elementary community. Families enjoyed exploring the display while recognizing the artistic growth students had developed throughout the year.

Students also received Certificates of Advancement, recognizing their accomplishments and readiness for middle school. The celebration concluded with a potluck meal that brought families, students and staff together in a warm atmosphere of gratitude and celebration. As students prepare for the next stage of their learning journey, the ISG Jubail community is proud of all they have achieved and excited for the opportunities that lie ahead.
