After a year defined by student leadership, environmental action and community engagement, ISG Jubail is proud to announce the submission of its Eco-Schools Green Flag Application. This important milestone reflects the collective efforts of students, staff, families and community partners who worked together to strengthen environmental responsibility across campus and create lasting positive change.

Led by dedicated Eco-Club members, alongside Mr. Casey Martin, students played a central role in guiding the school's Eco-School journey throughout the year. What began as a shared vision to create a greener and more environmentally conscious campus evolved into a community-wide involvement and commitment to sustainability. Through research, collaboration and action, students encouraged their peers and inspired meaningful participation across all grade levels.

Throughout the year, Eco-Club members conducted environmental audits, collected and analyzed sustainability data, developed action plans and implemented initiatives designed to support responsible environmental practices. Their work touched many areas of campus life, including waste reduction, resource conservation, healthy living and environmental awareness.

Among the year's accomplishments were the launch of a composting program, expanded recycling efforts, environmental surveys across grade levels, eco-art installations and seasonal fruit events that encouraged healthy choices. Students also helped build reusable garden infrastructure, organized awareness campaigns and supported the integration of sustainability concepts into learning experiences from elementary through high school. These initiatives reflected a shared commitment to making sustainability a meaningful part of everyday life at ISG Jubail.

At the center of the school's efforts is the student-created Eco-Code:

"Care for Earth. Care for Life. Small Actions. Big Change."

The Eco-Code serves as a guiding message for the school community, encouraging responsible choices while recognizing that everyday actions can contribute to meaningful change over time.

While the Green Flag Application marks an important achievement, the work continues. ISG Jubail looks forward to expanding environmental education opportunities, strengthening community partnerships and exploring future initiatives connected to waste reduction, biodiversity, water conservation, energy awareness and sustainable living.

The submission of the application reflects the dedication of an entire community united by a common purpose. Through student leadership, collaboration and a shared commitment to environmental stewardship, ISG Jubail continues to build a future where sustainability remains an important part of learning and daily life.
