KS2 Halloween English House Event Celebrates Learning and Teamwork at BSD

British School Dhahran hosted an engaging Halloween English House Event for KS2 students, combining language learning with friendly competition and teamwork. 

Working in their House teams, students took part in a series of themed challenges designed to develop their skills in figurative language, spelling, grammar, vocabulary and storytelling, earning points for their Houses throughout the event. 

The initiative also provided valuable opportunities for student leadership and collaboration across year groups. Primary House Captains played an active role in planning, organising and preparing the activities, while KS3 volunteers led the challenge stations, explained the tasks, managed scores and supported younger pupils. 

The event encouraged students to demonstrate confidence, creativity, communication skills and positive sportsmanship while strengthening their sense of House spirit. 

BSD extends its sincere thanks to Ms. Charlesworth, Head of Primary English, and Ms. Nourhan, Head of Houses, for their guidance and support, as well as to the Primary House Captains, KS3 volunteers and staff whose contributions helped make the event a success.
