ISG’S MISSION ALIGNMENT WITH KSA VISION 2030
ISG’s mission "we inspire innovation and compassionate action" aligns seamlessly with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which emphasizes a diversified and knowledge-based economy. By investing in education, ISG supports the Kingdom’s commitment to enhancing educational opportunities and fostering innovative learning programs that prepare students for future industries. The focus on multi-faceted education, including early childhood development to college and career pathways, ensures that students are well-equipped to meet the evolving demands of their futures while contributing to the nation’s long-term economic growth.
Parent engagement and community activities are central to ISG’s approach, reflecting the Vision 2030 objective of building a cohesive and thriving society. ISG encourages active parent and community organization participation and volunteering, which fosters a sense of community responsibility and compassion among students. This emphasis on cultural awareness and social impact prepares students to be empathetic, resilient citizens who can contribute positively to society, aligning with the vision’s goal of nurturing well-rounded individuals.
ISG also prioritizes the development of highly qualified staff and the creation of employment opportunities within the education sector. Through partnerships and innovative learning programs, ISG supports the entrepreneurial spirit and resilience called for in Vision 2030. These initiatives, combined with a strong focus on sports, athletics, and extracurricular activities, provide students with a holistic education that balances academic excellence with personal growth, preparing them to be proactive contributors to their communities’ futures.
ISG is excited and encouraged by the alignment between ISG’s guiding principles and Vision 2030 as we see expanded opportunities for our students in this expanded learning environment.

College and University Visits:
ISG’S THIRD ANNUAL TYPING COMPETITION
The ISG Typing Competition is back for its third year, proudly sponsored by BSD, offering a fantastic opportunity for students, staff and parents to enhance their touch typing skills.
This year, we are thrilled to announce the inclusion of Arabic typing, broadening the scope and accessibility of the competition. Participants will benefit from becoming faster at touch typing, learning the correct posture for typing, and developing an essential life-long skill.
In addition to these invaluable skills, students, parents and staff will also have the chance to win amazing prizes! A special thanks to Ms. Maha Sousak for her dedication and leadership in championing this event, which continues to foster essential digital literacy across our community.
To sign up for the competition please follow the instructions in this document.
PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES
Parent-teacher conferences are now underway on some campuses and will continue until February, providing a valuable opportunity for parents to engage directly with their children's educators.
These conferences are a cornerstone of parental involvement, fostering open communication between home and school. Through these one-on-one meetings, parents gain insights into their child's progress, strengths and areas for improvement, while also sharing their own observations and concerns. Feedback from teachers during these conferences is essential in creating a supportive learning environment, as it helps parents understand how they can further support their child's educational journey at home.
Together, parents and teachers collaborate to ensure each student reaches their full potential.
ISG U14 FOOTBALL JAMBOREE
The U14 Basketball Jamboree was a fantastic event that brought together students from all ISG schools for a day of friendly competition and teamwork. Watching our young athletes in action, giving it their all on the court, was truly inspiring.
This jamboree wasn’t just about the games; it was about building connections, supporting one another, and celebrating the spirit of sportsmanship that we value so deeply at ISG. It’s events like these that strengthen our community and remind us of the joy and growth that come from participating in sports.
CAFETERIA & FOOD SERVICES UPDATES ON OUR CAMPUSES
Following the recent Superintendent Student Advisory Committee (SSAC) meetings and feedback gathered from food surveys, ISG has taken a significant step towards enhancing the dining experience for students at ASD and BSD. As a result of these discussions and survey responses, pizza and popcorn will now be available in the cafeterias at both campuses starting next week. This addition reflects the students’ desire for more varied and enjoyable food options, catering to student preferences, while redirecting students during lunch to new locations to reduce congestion.
This initiative is part of a broader strategy to improve food services across all ISG campuses. The insights gained from the SSAC meetings and food surveys are driving these enhancements, ensuring that the food offerings meet the diverse needs and tastes of the student body.
The introduction of pizza and popcorn is just the beginning of a series of planned upgrades aimed at providing a healthy and student-friendly dining experience, which is in line with ISG's commitment to empowering student agency and a supportive school environment.
At ISG Dammam, ISG is expanding its partnership with the Middle Eastern Group (MEG) to include ISG Dammam, building on the successful collaboration at the Dhahran campus.
MEG has submitted a kitchen equipment list necessary for their catering services at ISG Dammam, which has been approved and is now in the payment process. The MEG team has also conducted several site visits to ISG Dammam to finalize the kitchen layout, ensuring the smooth operation of their services.
Unlike the Dhahran campus, where food is prepared at an off-site kitchen in Aziziyah and then finalized in the ASD/BSD kitchens, all cooking for ISG Dammam will be done on-site, providing fresh meals directly from their new kitchen.
For ISG Jubail, ISG is continuing to evaluate the current food service provider and we are also considering other providers and will have updates on this shortly.
