Summary
We are looking for a Technology Teacher, who will be part of a dynamic and highly successful technology department. The position carries responsibility for teaching to High school students.
Position Duties
The successful candidate will be able to effectively:
- Demonstrate a commitment to the safety and security of children and young people (child protection).
- Plan and deliver lessons in accordance with the goals and objectives of a clearly defined and documented curriculum.
- Maintain students attendance records, grades and other required records.
- Evaluate and grade students' class work, laboratory work and assignments.
- Compile, administer, and grade examinations.
- Assist students who need extra help with their coursework outside of class.
- Observe, monitor and record student progress.
- Respond appropriately to the range of individual needs and abilities within the class.
- Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions.
- Plan, evaluate, and revise curricula, course content, and course materials and methods of instruction.
- Collaborate with colleagues to address teaching and research issues.
- Demonstrate creativity.
- Serve on academic or administrative committees that deal with institutional policies, departmental matters, and academic issues.
- Maintain a safe learning environment for students and staff at all times.

Qualifications and Knowledge
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Certification as a teacher.
