Year 3 students at British School Dhahran stepped back in time for an unforgettable Roman Day experience, transforming into young Roman citizens and soldiers for a celebration of ancient history. Dressed in Roman-style attire, the students added a personal touch by carrying shields they had crafted in art class, each one reflecting their creativity and effort.
The event took place in the BSD gym, where parents and fellow primary students gathered to enjoy the historical presentation. The young performers marched confidently around the audience, chanting phrases in Latin and demonstrating their knowledge of Roman culture.
Their performance, marked by impressive organization and enthusiasm, brought the past to life in a vibrant and engaging way. Roman Day was not only a fun experience but also a meaningful educational journey into one of history’s most fascinating civilizations.
