BSD Celebrates Success in the UKMT Senior Maths Challenge

On 27 Nov we recognised a series of outstanding achievements, including the impressive results from the UKMT Senior Maths Challenge held on 9 October. Twenty-nine of our students earned certificates for achieving a Bronze award or higher, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving skills and academic commitment.

Notable accolades went to our students, who achieved the best result in Year 12, while Year 11 and Year 13 shared the distinction of attaining the best score in the school. 

We congratulate all students who took part in the challenge and look forward to the upcoming UKMT Intermediate Maths Challenge, scheduled for the end of January 2026, which will be undertaken by Year 9 accelerated students and selected candidates from Years 10 and 11.
